Description

The I.T. Site Coordinator functions as the corporate I.T. presence in a developing  community and/ or  corporate location.  This job requiresexercising  independent problem solving skills while working withresidents and staff members to  provide support to end users .  TheIT Site Coordinator also supports the primary technological objectives of thecommunity and corporate. 

This is a Part Time Postion20 hours per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Functionas the I.T. liaison for the community and corporate leaders
  • Communicatewith various department managers and staff on an ongoing basis to address anyareas where technology needs are not being met and/or improvement opportunitiesexist 
  • Tier 2hardware and software support
  • Providesupport for telephone systems in areas such as Move, Add, Change (MAC) requestsand basic troubleshooting
  • Conductend user training on standard applications  and hardware
  • Assistwith I.T. related projects 
  • Createand manage IT budget for location expenses and capital purchases of technologyrelated equipment & services
  • Create,implement and document community specific IT procedures
  • Maintaininventory of I.T. goods
  • SupportingErickson Resident Computer Services (E.R.C.S.)
  • Providestroubleshooting and repair services for resident computer issues
  • Provideresidents with training on applications and hardware in individual or classroomsettings
  • Provideconsulting services
  • Supportingresident technology initiatives including:
  • CommunityComputer Clubs
  • ResidentComputer Labs

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Thoroughknowledge of personal computer systems and desktop operating systems
  • Abilityto respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints, as well as dealappropriately with emotional customer service situations
  • Abilityto manage priorities, working both independently and within a team
  • Basicknowledge of networking, server administration, and phone systems
  • Candidatesmust have a strong customer service focus
  • Candidatesmust have the temperament to work under pressure in a demanding and changingenvironment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Associatesdegree in a technical filed or 3-5 years relevant experience required
  • Candidatesshould show evidence of an inclination towards continuous learning
