The Financial Analyst’s duties include:
Operational Support and Analysis:
Working with managers to develop and prepare budgets.
Assist in the establishment of policies and procedures
Provide financial and business support to Operations as required.
Perform special financial analysis to highlight business opportunities/issues and recommend solutions to enhance Community performance.
Oversees the Move-Out Process and Refund of Entrance Deposits.
Review and Analysis of the Financials, including Budget to Actual Variance Analysis.
Works with the department heads to review and analyze departmental financial results.
Completion of monthly internal financial statements for management. Effectively highlight critical issues, risks, trends, and opportunities.
Accounts Receivable and Billing:
Ensure that the monthly billing and collecting of resident and tenant accounts receivable is done accurately and effectively with proper controls and processes in place.
Key point of contact for the Resident Billing processes including problem resolution.
Overseeing and Managing the process for Spend Down of Entrance Deposit.

- Able to work independently or with little or no supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft office products – strong skills within Microsoft Excel

- Must be able to evaluate and solve complex problems and issues
- Must have the ability to quickly process issues and be able to clearly communicate thoughts
- Must have the ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS/BA in Accounting/Business is required.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related/similar industry is required.
Experience within an ERP system is preferred.
Healthcare experience preferred.
MBA/CPA a plus.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Financial Analyst will be the Community financial lead in the absence of the FD. The Financial Analyst may directly supervise the Accounting Office Coordinator or other Community Finance staff at the discretion of the Finance Director. The Finance Analyst is responsible for the Move-Out Process and indirectly supervises the Move-Out Coordinator.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language.
