Brooksby Village is hiring Home Health Aides for our in-house Private Duty Agency.
**We are now hiring Part Time, Consistently Scheduled Shifts**
*Shifts run from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, 7am-1pm, 8am-12pm*
These positions will be scheduled to work a part time consistent schedule between 16 and 32 hours a week which will include working every other weekend.

We are looking for great people to join our team of amazing care givers. At Brooksby Village a Home Support Aide is a HHA or CNA who carries out social, personal, and certain health care tasks under the supervision of our registered nurses and who may also provide assistance with housekeeping and/or other related supportive tasks in a client's home, right here on our campus in Peabody.
Our Home Health Aide Responsibilities typically include:
- Assisting clients with personal care and ADLs.
- Escorting clients to appointments.
- Preparing and serving meals.
- Light Housekeeping. and Laundry.
- Running errands for or with a client.
A Home Support Aide is a qualified individual who carries out social, personal and certain health care tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse and who may also provide assistance with housekeeping and other related supportive tasks to a client in his/her place of residence.
The aide may perform other tasks permissible under state scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.
Will Be Required to work at least 2 weekend shifts in a month
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Assists clients with personal care and activities of daily living, in accordance with the client’s individualized care plan.
2.Practices safety, infection control, and standard precautions.
3.Maintains client rights and confidentiality.
4.Escorts client to appointments.
5.Prepares and serves meals according to instructions.
6.Keeps the rooms the client uses clean, including making bed, changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, tidying kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom.
7.Shops or does errands for client.
8.Washes client's laundry.
9.Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
10.Documents services provided on the appropriate form, and submits the form to the office before leaving the campus.
11.Attends in-services, as required.
12.Reports to Supervisor any changes in client condition.
13.Performs the following permissible Home Support Aide functions under special circumstances, as directed by the supervising RN:
a.Takes and records vital signs and/or intake and output.b.Observes, reports, and records client activity.c.Assists with changes of colostomy bag.d.Changes simple non-sterile dressing.e.Assists with the use of devices used as aids to daily living for the disabled.f.Assists client with prescribed exercises about which the home support aide has been taught by appropriate professional personnel.g.Performs other tasks permissible under state scope of practice and regulatory guidelines under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.h.Reminds client to take medications, and observes client taking medications.
14.If working on a “flex” basis, submits a completed “Availability” form when requested, and honors the commitment to work when assigned within that availability.:
