SUMMARY:Ensures the efficiency of food servicesthrough proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, trash disposalareas, equipment, cookware, dishes, etc.Performs stock tasks as directed. Assists with meal service tasks asdirected.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.Other duties may be assigned.
1.Maintains the Erickson Livingphilosophy and “Vision” statement.
2.Organizes, cleans andsanitizes the kitchen, dining areas, trash disposal areas, loading dock,elevators, dining storage areas, equipment, cookware, dishes, etc.
3.Follows and completeswritten and verbal cleaning instructions/procedures and other assignments.
4.Assists stock/utility staff personwith inventory, receiving, verification, stocking and tracking.
5.Works safely, consistently usingdesignated safety equipment (personal protective equipment- PPE).
6.Communicates appropriatelywith all food service staff, supervisors, other facility staff and listens effectively.
7.Assists with meal servicetasks as directed

·Conscientious, diligent,hard-working and flexible.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
·Experience in a kitchen/food serving environment preferred, but notrequired.
·High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language.
