: Responsible for the cashier function in the assigned dining area. Responsibilities include greeting and waiting on patrons, accurately performing cash and charge functions. Completes the daily accounting procedures. Replenishes and ensures freshness and quality of food, beverages, supplies and disposables to include appropriate stocking and display. Completes organization, cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Maintains the Erickson Living philosophy and “Vision” statement.
2. Satisfies residents, guests and staff with services. Ensures the residents and patrons have an enjoyable experience in the dining operation.
3. Performs cash and charge transactions quickly, accurately, consistently and without error. Completes assigned accounting documentation.
4. Maintains cleaning and sanitation in assigned area.
5. Ensures beverages, condiments, disposables and food items are stocked, rotated and displayed appropriately.
6. Prepares food and menu items following recipes as assigned.
7. Communicates appropriately with supervisors, staff and customers and listens effectively.
8. Ensures all health and sanitation standards are maintained.
9. Works safely, consistently using designated safety equipment (personal protective equipment- PPE).
10. Ensures that the accounting is completed as directed.

• Ability to deal effectively with several projects, an eye for detail and a friendly manner in dealing with patrons.
• Demonstrated accurate cash handling and reporting skills.
• Ability to complete duties while performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safe food handling.
• Knowledge and demonstrated practice of maintaining a clean, sanitary and organized store and work area.
• Employee will be required to work weekends and holidays

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Previous experience in a cashier function preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language.
