This growth requires a strong pipeline of talented and experienced professionals in critical leadership roles.  We are currently looking for a Nursing Home Administrator/Director of Continuing Care for our Tallgrass Creek continuing care retirement community located in Overland Park, KS. This position is open due to a promotion.

 

We need a strong licensed administrator who will provide the highest quality of resident services and care, within budgetary guidelines, while meeting, or exceeding community and facility quality and service standards. This person will be responsible for compliance with federal, state, local and facility policies, procedures, and regulations.

The Nursing Home Administrator/Director of Continuing Care Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Regularly monitors facility performance; reviews and analyzes financial management report; analyze Profit & Loss reports in a timely manner and take corrective action when necessary.

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of the Continuing Care quality assessment and assurance program.

  • Develops and implements a facility-wide resident relations program to meet residents’ needs and to ensure resident quality and service.

  •  Directs the safety and loss prevention program; monitors adherence to safety rules and regulations and takes remedial action when necessary.

  •  Plans and develops the capital expenditures budget; coordinates capital improvements.

  •  Ensure adequate and effective orientation and training of all employees in their job specific duties, in the Center’s quality and service standards, and in understanding the Center’s resident population.

  • Current valid State Administrator license.

  • Bachelors degree required .

  • Possess broad knowledge of the theory and practice of long term care administration; possess specialized knowledge of the needs of the elderly in the long-term care setting.

  • Financial Management skills; business acumen; familiarity with business practice and principles.
