Ann's Choice Located in Warminster, Pa. is currently looking for a Philanthropy Manager.
• Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and provide stewardship for community residents, family members and friends, staff, community members, corporations and foundations.
• Prepare a detailed fundraising plan with reasonable and attainable goals to meet community funding objectives.
• Plan and coordinate fund drives for special projects as appropriate to achieve the strategic philanthropic goals for the community.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking and action by regularly assessing the department’s long-term goals, and act swiftly to engage donors, solicit gift, and secure philanthropic commitments.
• Ensure consistent and timely communication throughout the Philanthropy department regarding prospect and donor contact and activity.
• Appropriately utilize philanthropic software including but not limited to Luminate and Planned Giving software.
• Work closely with staff and volunteers in creating a sense of pride and ownership in the community in addition to developing an understanding and culture of philanthropy

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five plus years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.
• Working knowledge and understanding of all areas of fundraising, including annual giving, major, and planned giving.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication and managerial skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Highly motivated to set and achieve measurable goals.
• Experience working with volunteers desired.
• A strong interest or background in senior services, social services, or health care desired.
• A high comfort level in working closely with senior citizens.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills

REASONING SKILLS:
Ability to understand complex operational processes and provide guidance to teams working to improve those processes.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Knowledge of Office Suite - Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge a plus.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree. Five plus years of related work experience in philanthropy, healthcare, or senior services.
