Highland Springs offers a beautiful scenic campus, a community centered on values, and workplace that inspires you to do your best every day.  The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating, planning, driving and monitoring the progress of multiple projects to ensure that the projects are completed in a timely manner and within the established budget.  The Project Manager must recognize when obstacles are encountered and be able to  organize team members and other resources
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned by Sr Leadership.
  1. Defining project objectives and scope.
  2. Analyzing existing processes, systems and procedures and recommend solutions.
  3. Preparing detailed project task lists.
  4. Planning project deliverables.
  5. Estimating timelines and resources needed for tasks and working with teams to establish completion timeframes and overall schedules.
  6. Monitoring project status and taking actions to correct deviations from plan.
  7. Assessing user needs and ensuring that system and process solutions meet those needs.
  8. Communicating project status to the team and leadership.
  9. Managing vendors providing resources and deliverables to the project.
  10. Arranging training needed for project team members and end users.
  11. Updating project plans to reflect current status.
  12. Evaluating performance of project team members and recommending personnel changes, when necessary.
  13. Writing system or process test plans and acceptance test criteria.
  14. Assuring system quality before production deployment
  15. Assuring process acceptance and logic before communication to stakeholders.
  16. Obtaining user sign off and acceptance prior to implementation.
  17. Assisting in the implementation of procedures to meet the business planning needs and quarterly updates for the Community.
  18. Assisting in the establishment of policies and procedures that ensure adequacy of internal controls and effectiveness in providing services to the business lines.
  19. Interacting with business lines to ensure effective coordination, communication and support for Erickson Living operations.
  20. Performing business analysis and reporting to highlight business/systems opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance business performance.
  21. Researching, analyzing and developing business processes to improve business line, system and personnel performance.
  22. Perform preoccupancy inspection of vacated units to determine the of necessary renovations.
  23. Responsible for hiring, termination, disciplining, and evaluation of the assigned direct reports (facility coordinator(s).
  24. Manage internal contractors, housekeeping, and necessary maintenance staff.
  25. Responsible for the final inspection of units upon completion.
  26. Follow up with Facilities Coordinators after completed move in with new residents to resolve on going/outstanding issues.
  27. Coordinate with various department managers and coordinators the any necessary work orders to upkeep the common area.
  28. Prepare and submit all necessary reports to directly to the Director of General Services.
  29. Must adhere to the ELM contract policy.

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years project management experience or equivalent related experience required
Project Management certification or training preferred
Broad knowledge of CCRC’s or healthcare environment preferred
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills required.
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
